Welcome to the Auckland Grammar School Old Boys’ Association (OBA) website. The OBA provides website features to you subject to the following terms and conditions. If you visit or shop on this OBA website, you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

This privacy notice applies to personal and other information collected on the OBA’s websites: and Personal and contact information is collected by the OBA about its Members. This information is a mix of information obtained from public sources (eg: Auckland Grammar School records) and information supplied by the Member. The information is used by the OBA to respond to information and requests; advising members and others of important issues in the Grammar community. You can choose not to provide certain information, and our Members can chose who can access the contact details of our Members. We do not collect users’ IP addresses or employ the use of cookies. You have the right to request access to or correction of personal or contact information held by the OBA. To do this, contact the OBA at the address given at the end of this section.

All material on the OBA website is protected by copyright; and anyone can utilise any of the material available on the website free of charge and without permission of the OBA provided that the source and copyright status of the material is acknowledged. All material on the restricted section of the OBA website is accessible by Members of the OBA only and cannot be utilised, downloaded, copied or printed by anyone who is not a Member of the OBA without the permission of the OBA. Altering any of the content of the OBA website by a Member is done at the Member’s own risk. The OBA accepts no liability for content that is downloaded and altered.

When you place an order through this website, we need to know your name, e-mail, and credit card details if paying by credit card. This allows us to process and fulfill your order successfully. It also helps us in maintaining your account. When you place orders, we use a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the sensitive customer data we collect is protected by several layers of encryption and several layers of security to prevent unauthorised access. All credit card payments are processed securely through Payment Express. The OBA does not store any credit card information of its Members when they are used on our websites.

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use by the OBA of the information provided. By using our website, you agree the OBA may provide, from time to time, your contact details to Auckland Grammar School so they might contact you to notify you of relevant school information and school events. You permit the OBA to be the sole determinant of 'relevant' as it pertains to school information and school events when providing contact details of our members to the School for these purposes. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes here so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. By using our website, you consent to the OBA presenting your dashboard details for viewing to other members who log into the site.

The OBA grants access to Members of the OBA to certain sections of its website that are restricted and require password entry. OBA Members have unlimited access to these sections so long as their membership remains valid under the terms of the OBA’s Constitution and Membership Policies. OBA members accept the obligation not to share access to the restricted sections of the OBA’s websites with anyone else. OBA members accept the obligation not to use information presented on the OBA’s websites for commercial or promotional purposes and will comply with all site policies and Zealand Law ( see. COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW).

If you use this site, as an OBA Member you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. The OBA does sell products that you can purchase with a credit card or other permitted payment method. The OBA reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders on our sole discretion.

The name that will appear on your/ the cardholder’s statement in relation to any purchase made for memberships, products, services or events arranged through the OBA’s website will be: “AGSOBA”.

OBA Members may, after logging on, post reviews, comments, photos, and other content; send communications; and submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions, or other information, so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of "spam". You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of content. The OBA reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit such content, but does not regularly review posted content.

The OBA does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at our office. At our discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return. In this situation, the OBA does not take title to the refunded item. Any item sold through the OBA’s website may be returned to the OBA by the purchaser within 10 (ten) working days of purchase for any reason. The purchaser is entitled to a refund of the purchase price of the item, not including courier or postal charges, only after the returned item has been received at the OBA’s office. The item must be in a fit-for-sale condition for the OBA to accept its return. Any item received by the purchaser in a damaged state, or in error, may be returned for full refund. In such a situation, the purchaser must contact the OBA’s Office by phone or e-mail immediately or before the end of the next working day. Any event registration may be cancelled up to one week before the event is scheduled to take place. A full refund applies. Applications for refunds for event registrations within a week of the event will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Events include only thoise events sold through the OBA website such as the OBA’s Annual Dinner, reunions organised by the OBA & the OBA pub quiz. Events eligible for refunds from the OBA do not include events organised by Auckland Grammar School and sold through the school's website ( or transacted through it's third party providers such as

Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products and events on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product or event itself. We do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Please note that this policy applies only to products sold and shipped by the OBA. All items, products, services and events available for sale on this website are listed in New Zealand Dollars ($NZD). Goods and Services Tax (GST) applies to all sales and will be listed separately on your invoice/statement. Online orders are delivered using Courier Post Standard Service. We only deliver to physical addresses in NZ. Delivery to PO Boxes is not accepted. Delivery times are 3-5 days within New Zealand and up to 21 days internationally.

The information, tools, templates and opinions contained in this site are provided for convenience as part of the service we offer OBA Members at this web site. However, the OBA cannot accept any liability for its accuracy or content. Visitors who rely on this information do so at their own risk.

We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any of these terms and conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and ability to enforce any remaining condition.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to avoid the provisions of the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (“CGA”) except to the extent permitted by the CGA or to exclude liability arising under any other statute. If and to the extent that such liability cannot be lawfully excluded, these Terms and Conditions shall be modified to the extent necessary to give effect to the above intention. If you are acquiring goods or services from us for the purposes of a business, you agree that the guarantees provided in the CGA shall not apply. We do not provide any express guarantees (as that term is defined in the CGA) other than those expressly confirmed in these Terms. You consent to receive communications from us electronically and agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You agree to be bound by any agreement reached through electronic communications in terms of the Electronic Transactions Act 2002. You consent to receiving electronic messages and information sent by us (or on our behalf) for any purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
